Some popular reasons for upgrading your account include:
  1. Support for using a custom domain name with your page, referred to as "Domain Mapping".
  2. Removal of the navigation bar at the top of the page as well as their logo and branding, making your site truly personal.
  3. Ability to track your page performance by adding a Google Analytics tag.
  4. Priority support if you're having any troubles.

Steps to point your domain name at your site

First, login to your POP account and click on the Domain Settings button for the Domain Name service for the domain name you want to point to POP. You can check which domain you're actively managing by looking at the domain listed dropdown in your top navigation bar.

You'll be taken to the Simple DNS page. While on the Simple DNS page, scroll down until you see the section for third party services. In that list you'll find The button to the right of the service should be showing "Offline." Hover over the "Online" button and click. You'll be prompted to confirm that you want to turn the service on. Select "Okay".

Excellent. That's all you had to do within POP! We've automatically configured your DNS records to point your domain at your site.

Assuming you've already upgraded to the Premium plan as mentioned at the top of this post, follow these instructions to link your site to your POP domain from within your account.

First, log in to your account and click on 'Account Settings' in the upper right which looks like a gear icon with your name. You'll then need to publish your site to your domain name by entering your domain in the custom domain(s) field and clicking "Apply" and submitting the form. If you're having trouble finding this input, you can always contact support.

Congrats!  You've just finished pointing your domain to your site
